So why start a trading blog? A few reasons come to mind...
- Accountability - By publishing my analysis and rationale for each trade that I take, I'm less likely to take a trade without a good reason for doing so. It's a good thing to have to justify your trades before entering into a position.
- Journal/record keeping - Recording my analysis and trades in a blog is a good way to record my trades and track my progress (though I still keep a separate spreadsheet).
- Idea sharing - I welcome any and all comments on content presented here. In fact, I think this is one of the best ways to learn.
- Give back - I've spent countless hours lurking on trading message boards and other peoples' blogs picking up every bit of information and knowledge relating to trading. I'd like to pass on at least a bit of what I've learned along the way and hope that it may help at least someone in their journey.
- Everyone else is doing it - Everyone else is blogging, so why not?!?!
